WRITE A LETTER TO THE EDITOR
Letters to the editor are an easy way to voice your opinion to policy makers and the general public about important prevention issues.

Your letter is most likely to be published if it is concise and "to the point", so please limit your letter to 200 words or less.  It is appropriate to write a letter about a general topic, but newspapers are most interested in printing letters that are in response to a current event or recently published article in their paper. Click here to view several samples of letters to the editor written by NICPP youth advocates.

Please use the form below to submit your letter. NICPP's Media Advocacy Specialist will forward it to the appropriate newspaper.  Please note that your daytime phone number will not be published. The Newspaper requires your phone number so that they may contact you to confirm the authenticity of your letter.
